Job summary

Grand Traverse Resort & Casinos in Peshawbestown, MI is seeking a Sales Coordinator to drive bookings for motor coach, corporate, and miscellaneous groups through direct mail, phone campaigns and personal outreach. Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma, a GED or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of documented sales experience.
• Must be computer literate; familiar with IBM or compatible software including Microsoft Office and Player Tracking software.
• Preferred candidate will possess a college degree.
• Must have a valid Michigan driver's license and be insurable by the tribal insurance carrier.

Responsibilities

• Take reservations and assist in itinerary planning for motor coach/corporate groups.
• Update Group reservation calendar and distribute.
• Contact client to confirm visitation and meeting dates, times, number attending, and meeting room requirement.
• Prepare banquet event order forms and communicate internally.
• Set up for events, including all tables, chairs, etc.
