Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Groundsperson to support field crews by performing ground-based tasks, clearing brush and trees as directed, and handling site clean-up after jobs. A valid driver’s license is required to operate trucks and equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, PPE usage, and ability to travel for storm restoration work when needed. Candidates should be prepared to work outdoors in varying conditions and to communicate effectively with crew members.

Qualifications

• Physical strength and balance to drag heavy limbs and use chainsaws in uneven terrain.
• Ability to work outdoors under varying weather conditions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain First‑Aid certification and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Clear brush and trees from ground using hand tools and gas-powered saws.
• Load and unload trucks with logs, brush and debris; feed brush into chipper.
• Drive truck or operate other equipment as assigned and perform basic maintenance.
