Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is seeking a Groundsperson to support the crew by performing ground-based tasks, clearing brush and trees as directed, and assisting with site clean-up. A valid Driver’s License is required.

This full-time position involves operating hand tools and light equipment, loading materials, setting up traffic control, and driving or assisting with storm restoration work as needed. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Outdoor work in varying weather and terrain.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and keep work areas clear.
• Clear undergrowth from right-of-way with hand tools.
• Load/unload materials and feed brush into chipper.
• Set up and break down road signs; flag traffic.
• Drive truck or operate other equipment as assigned.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks/equipment.
• Travel for storm restoration work as needed.
