Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is seeking a groundsperson to support line crews by clearing brush from the ground and performing site cleanup. You will load materials, drive or operate equipment, and assist with storm restoration tasks as needed.

Candidates should be physically fit, able to work outdoors in varying weather, and pass a background check and drug screen. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and safety training is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Support crew from ground, clear brush and trees.
• Load/unload logs and debris from trucks; feed into chipper.
• Set up road signs and flag traffic for safety.
• Drive truck or operate equipment as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
