Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services are seeking a Groundsperson to support crews by clearing brush and trees from ground level. Responsibilities include using hand tools, operating basic equipment, and ensuring safety on job sites.

The position requires physical endurance, the ability to work outdoors in various weather, and travel for storm restoration as needed. High school diploma preferred; background check and drug screening may be required.

Qualifications

• This position requires passing a background check and drug screen.
• High School diploma or education equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean brush and trees from the ground as directed.
• Load and unload trucks with logs, brush and debris.
• Feed brush into brush chipper and clear right-of-way undergrowth.
• Set up and break down road signs; flag traffic for safety.
• Drive truck or operate equipment as assigned; basic maintenance.
