Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts and Kendall Vegetation Services is seeking a Groundsperson to support the crew by performing ground work, clearing brush and trees as directed, and handling site cleanup.

You will operate or assist with chain saws, pruners, and other equipment; travel for storm restoration; adhere to safety practices, wear PPE, and pass background/drug checks as required. This is a full-time position with benefits including health coverage and 401K eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must possess physical strength and balance to drag heavy limbs and use tools.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must maintain safety and PPE compliance.
• Driver's license required if driving.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce rules.
• Clear debris and brush from work areas.
• Operate chain saws, pruners, and other tools to clear brush and trees.
• Load/unload trucks with logs and debris; feed brush to chipper.
• Set up road signs and flag traffic to protect workers and public.
• Travel for storm restoration work when needed.
