Job summary

West Coast Self-Storage Group is seeking a part-time Groundskeeper to maintain multiple properties. You will perform landscaping, upkeep of outdoor areas, and support facility systems and structures.

The role emphasizes outdoor work, use of hand and power tools, and teamwork with the District Manager and store teams. The position is outdoor, labor-intensive, with a schedule highlighting Mon 9:45am–6:00pm and Fri/Sat 11:00am–3:00pm, up to 24 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Grounds keeping or maintenance experience.
• Experience with utilizing hand and power tools.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Ability to work outdoors in urban and rural environments.
• Ability to self-manage while working independently to complete team and company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Learns skills necessary to complete the job.
• Communicates project status and follow-up dates on schedule to DM (District Manager).
• Maintains facility grounds (landscaping, parking areas, etc.).
• Maintains facility systems (lights, gates, security systems, etc.).
• Maintains facility structures (fences, doors, etc.).

Job description

Job Summary:

A Groundskeeper works with the District Manager and store teams to ensure upkeep and appearance of West Coast Self-Storage properties according to clean and operational standards. This role involves performing various landscaping and maintenance duties for multiple properties to keep them functional, clean, and free from debris. This is an outdoor and labor-intensive job. It includes the use of tools, hardware, chemicals, and other items to complete the required work.

Schedule:

Schedule: P/T, Mon: 9:45am-6:00pm, Fri & Sat: 11:00am-3:00pm.

**Up to 24 hours per week**
