Job summary

West Coast Self-Storage Group in Washington is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain outdoor areas across multiple properties. You will perform landscaping and general maintenance, work with the District Manager and store teams, and help keep facilities clean, safe, and functional.

This full-time, outdoor role requires using hand and power tools, lifting, and independent work to meet company standards. Location support includes Olympia, Tumwater, Lacey, and Shelton with a monthly travel stipend.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required).
• Grounds keeping or maintenance experience (required).
• Experience with utilizing hand and power tools (requires).

Job description

Job Summary:

A Groundskeeper works with the District Manager and store teams to ensure upkeep and appearance of West Coast Self-Storage properties according to clean and operational standards. This role involves performing various landscaping and maintenance duties for multiple properties to keep them functional, clean, and free from debris. This is an outdoor and labor-intensive job. It includes the use of tools, hardware, chemicals, and other items to complete the required work.

Location Details:

This team member will be expected to commute to support our Olympia, Tumwater, Lacey, & Shelton locations. Monthly travel stipend provided.

Schedule:

Full-Time, Mon-Fri (Off Sat/Sun) from 9:45am-6:15pm.

Job Duties:

• Learns skills necessary to complete the job
• Communicates project status and follow-up dates on schedule to DM (District Manager)
• Maintains facility grounds (landscaping, parking areas, etc.)
• Maintains facility systems (lights, gates, security systems, etc.)
• Maintains facility structures (fences, doors, etc.)

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)

• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
• Ability to work outdoors in urban and rural environments
• Ability to self-manage while working independently to complete team and company objectives
