Job summary

West Coast Self-Storage Careers in Mount Pleasant, PA is seeking a part-time Groundskeeper to maintain outdoor areas across multiple properties. The role involves landscaping, maintenance, and operation of tools and equipment to keep facilities clean, functional, and free of debris.

This is outdoor, labor-intensive work performed with the guidance of the District Manager. Schedule: PT, up to 24 hours/week with shifts Mon 9:45am-6:00pm and Fri & Sat 11:00am-3:00pm.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Grounds keeping or maintenance experience required.
• Experience with utilizing hand and power tools required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in various environments.
• Ability to self-manage while working independently to meet objectives.

Responsibilities

• Learns skills necessary to complete the job.
• Communicates project status and follow-up dates on schedule to DM (District Manager).
• Maintains facility grounds (landscaping, parking areas, etc.).
• Maintains facility systems (lights, gates, security systems, etc.).
• Maintains facility structures (fences, doors, etc.).

Description

Job Summary:

A Groundskeeper works with the District Manager and store teams to ensure upkeep and appearance of West Coast Self-Storage properties according to clean and operational standards. This role involves performing various landscaping and maintenance duties for multiple properties to keep them functional, clean, and free from debris. This is an outdoor and labor-intensive job. It includes the use of tools, hardware, chemicals, and other items to complete the required work.

Schedule: P/T, Mon: 9:45am-6:00pm, Fri & Sat: 11:00am-3:00pm.

**Up to 24 hours per week**
