Job summary

West Coast Self-Storage is seeking a Groundskeeper to support multiple properties around Olympia, WA. You will handle landscaping, grounds maintenance, and basic building upkeep in outdoor environments.

Compensation is $19 per hour with a monthly phone stipend, mileage stipend, and benefits. This is a full-time role with a Mon-Fri schedule and a travel stipend for supporting Olympia, Tumwater, Lacey, and Shelton locations.

Qualifications

• Grounds keeping or maintenance experience required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Experience using hand and power tools is required.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors daily.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility grounds including landscaping and parking areas.
• Monitor and maintain facility systems and structures as needed.
• Communicate progress and schedule with District Manager.

Job Summary

A Groundskeeper works with the District Manager and store teams to ensure upkeep and appearance of West Coast Self-Storage properties according to clean and operational standards. This role involves performing various landscaping and maintenance duties for multiple properties to keep them functional, clean, and free from debris. This is an outdoor and labor-intensive job. It includes the use of tools, hardware, chemicals, and other items to complete the required work.

Location Details:

This team member will be expected to commute to support our Olympia, Tumwater, Lacey, & Shelton locations. Monthly travel stipend provided.

Schedule:

Full-Time, Mon-Fri (Off Sat/Sun) from 9:45am-6:15pm.

Job Duties

• Learns skills necessary to complete the job
• Communicates project status and follow-up dates on schedule to DM (District Manager)
• Maintains facility grounds (landscaping, parking areas, etc.)
• Maintains facility systems (lights, gates, security systems, etc.)
• Maintains facility structures (fences, doors, etc.)

Requirements
