Job summary

Bell Partners is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to oversee daily grounds upkeep and building exterior cleanliness across our communities. You will work under the Maintenance Manager to keep properties in top condition, maintain landscaping, and support light maintenance tasks.

The role requires at least 2 years of grounds keeping experience in a multi-family setting, physical ability to handle lifting up to 80 lbs, and familiarity with OSHA safety practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of grounds keeping experience in a multi-family environment
• Knowledge of landscaping and lawn maintenance
• Comfortable with lifting up to 80 lbs and physical tasks
• Familiarity with basic safety/OSHA requirements
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Maintain the grounds of the assigned property
• Keep outdoor areas and breezeways clean and landscaped
• Plant and tend flowers, trees and shrubs; mow lawns; apply fertilizer and insecticides
• Clean gutters and remove trash; assist with pool maintenance as needed
• Shovel snow and apply salt to prevent ice; ensure vacated apartments are cleaned
• Follow safety procedures and maintain tools and equipment; attend on-time
• Support maintenance team with light work orders and painting
• Maintain amenities in a clean and orderly condition (fitness center, restrooms, laundry, clubhouse)
