Job summary

Bell Partners Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Assistant in Georgia to keep grounds and common areas clean and well maintained. The role supports the Maintenance Manager in daily property upkeep, including exterior spaces, landscaping, gutters, and debris removal.

The position requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years of grounds keeping and landscaping experience in multi-family communities. HVAC/EPA certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of grounds keeping experience in a multi-family environment.
• 2+ years of landscaping experience.
• HVAC/EPA certifications may be required in communities depending on staffing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the grounds of the assigned property.
• Maintain cleanliness outside each building and the surrounding grounds.
• Keep a uniform landscaped look by picking up debris around buildings and breezeways.
• Care for gutters, bed plants, trees, shrubs; trim, mow, fertilize, and apply insecticides; use pest control equipment.
• Follow established procedures for maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Clean and remove trash; perform pool maintenance duties as needed.
• Shovel snow and spread salt to prevent ice buildup.
• Clean vacated apartments as directed by Maintenance Manager.
• Clean common areas daily; ensure amenities are maintained.
• Assist maintenance team in vacant units or light work orders; may include painting and moving appliances.
• Follow all safety/OSHA requirements; maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
