Job summary

Bell Partners in North Carolina is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to manage the grounds of the community and support daily property upkeep under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager.

The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years of grounds keeping/landscaping experience. HVAC/EPA certs may be needed based on staffing. The position involves physical work and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in grounds keeping in a multi-unit residential environment.
• Experience in landscaping and maintaining landscaped areas.
• HVAC/EPA certifications may be required depending on staffing levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the grounds of the assigned property.
• Keep exterior of buildings and surrounding areas clean and well-kept.
• Maintain a uniform landscaped look by removing debris around buildings and breezeways.
• Clean gutters and tend to plantings, lawns, and landscaping features.
• Operate basic tools and equipment with proper safety procedures.
• Perform pool maintenance duties as needed.
• Shovel snow and spread salt on walkways when necessary.
• Assist with cleaning vacated apartments and common areas daily.
• Support maintenance team with light work orders and painting.
