Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper responsible for maintaining exterior and interior areas of properties. Daily tasks include upkeep, supplies management, snow removal, safety compliance, and professional presentation in line with company policies.

Ideal candidates will operate grounds keeping tools and machinery, exercise good judgment, and take initiative to complete tasks while ensuring resident satisfaction and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Experience using grounds keeping tools and machinery.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions.
• Ability to solve problems with a few concrete variables in standard situations.
• Ability to take initiative to complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily upkeep of the property buildings and grounds, including cleaning and trash removal.
• Manage supplies and equipment inventory for the property and management company.
• Remove snow and apply de-icer to prevent ice buildup on walkways.
• Operate in alignment with OSHA standards and company safety policies at all times.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional uniform and appearance at all times.
• Respond courteously and efficiently to residents and staff; follow policies and procedures.
