Job summary

Apartment Management Consultants (AMC) is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeper to maintain exterior and interior grounds at our properties. You will perform daily upkeep, assist with supplies, and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and colleagues.

Responsibilities include snow removal, de-icing, proper tool maintenance, and strict adherence to OSHA standards and company policies. A professional appearance, reliable teamwork, and a commitment to safety and resident service

Qualifications

• Ability to use grounds keeping tools and machinery effectively.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to take initiative to execute job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily upkeep of the property buildings and grounds, including trash removal.
• Manage inventory and care of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or management company.
• Remove snow and apply de-icer on walkways to prevent ice buildup.
• Operate within OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
• Respond courteously and efficiently to residents and colleagues.
• Maintain knowledge of company and community policies and procedures.
