Job summary

Capital Vacations in Gatlinburg, Tennessee is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain resort grounds and provide a safe, clean environment for guests and Owners. You will manage landscaping, mowing, irrigation, and basic upkeep to keep the property inviting.

The schedule is 8 AM–4:30 PM with pay at $17/hr. Benefits include PTO, paid holidays, medical/dental coverage, life insurance, and travel perks; a valid driver's license and 1 year groundskeeping experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year groundskeeping experience or related field.
• Valid Driver’s license required.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain landscaping of the resort.
• Keep grounds free of trash and debris; maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation.
• Operate and maintain hand tools; assist with maintenance tasks as needed.
• Conduct basic irrigation audits and basic repairs.
• Respond to varying duties as assigned; snow removal as needed.

• Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locations
• Maintains the landscaping of the resort
• Maintains lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation to include trimming, fertilizing, etc.
• Operates and maintains hand tools efficiently
• Keeps grounds free from trash, litter, debris
• Empties all trash receptacles
• Conducts basic irrigation audits and preforms basic irrigation repairs
• Removes snow utilizing shovel or snowblower
• Assists with any maintenance task as needed
