Job summary

Capital Vacations is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the resort grounds in Florida, ensuring a safe, clean environment for guests and owners. The role involves landscaping duties, lawn and irrigation care, and basic maintenance tasks across resort properties.

A valid driver’s license and at least 1 year of groundskeeping experience are required; OSHA awareness and safe handling of tools are emphasized to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year groundskeeping experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with manual and power hand tools.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the landscaping of the resort and provides a safe, clean environment for guests and owners.
• Maintains lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation systems including trimming and fertilizing.
• Operates and maintains hand tools and power equipment efficiently.
• Keeps grounds free from trash and debris; empties trash receptacles.
• Performs basic irrigation audits and repairs; assists with other maintenance tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

The Groundskeeper maintains the landscaping of the resort and provides a safe, clean environment for guests and owners.

• Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locations
• Maintains the landscaping of the resort
• Maintains lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation including trimming, fertilizing, etc.
• Operates and maintains hand tools efficiently
• Keeps grounds free from trash, litter, debris
• Empties all trash receptacles
• Conducts basic irrigation audits and performs basic irrigation repairs
• Removes snow using shovel or snowblower
• Assists with any maintenance task as needed
• All other duties as requested

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 1‑year groundskeeping experience or related field
• Valid Driver’s license
• Proficient in using manual and power hand tools
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and follows laws and regulations
