Job summary

Capital Vacations in Gatlinburg is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the resort landscape and provide a safe, clean environment for guests and Owners. Schedule: 8 AM–4:30 PM; Pay: $17/hr.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year in groundskeeping, and the ability to use hand and power tools. OSHA knowledge is a plus; duties include trimming, irrigation, snow removal, and general maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year groundskeeping experience or related field.
• Proficient in using manual and power hand tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the landscaping of the resort.
• Maintain lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation to include trimming, fertilizing, etc.
• Operate and maintain hand tools efficiently.
• Keep grounds free from trash, litter, debris.
• Removes snow utilizing shovel or snowblower.
• Assist with any maintenance task as needed.

• Responsibilities listed may not apply to all locations
• Maintains the landscaping of the resort
• Maintains lawns, trees, shrubs, flowers, turf, and irrigation to include trimming, fertilizing, etc.
• Operates and maintains hand tools efficiently
• Keeps grounds free from trash, litter, debris
• Empties all trash receptacles
• Conducts basic irrigation audits and preforms basic irrigation repairs
• Removes snow utilizing shovel or snowblower
• Assists with any maintenance task as needed
• All other duties as requested
