Job summary

Capital Vacations in Gatlinburg, TN is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to maintain clean rooms and public spaces in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization. Pay is $18.00/hr with opportunities for advancement.

Candidates will stock supplies, deliver guest amenities, and follow documented checklists, while prioritizing safety and guest satisfaction. Weekend shifts are required per scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Be able to work weekends.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to prioritize and complete tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas in accordance with set procedures.
• Stocks room attendant's supplies, removes soiled linen and trash from carts, and performs guest service functions.
• Delivers guest amenities to guest rooms.
• Complete all assigned tasks on checklist and walkthrough with Manager before clocking out.
• Identify and correct potential safety hazards (e.g., broken doors/railings, wet floors).
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.

Cleans assigned areas in accordance with set procedures. Stocks room attendant's supplies, removes soiled linen and trash from carts, and performs various guest service functions.

What you’re great at

• Collects soiled linen from units and delivers to area assigned.
• Assists in keeping all storage areas and linen room clean.
• Assists Executive Housekeeper in checking supplies, opening cartons, and placing supplies neatly on shelves.
• Delivers guest amenities to guest rooms.
• Complete all assign tasks on checklist and complete walkthrough with Manager to ensure all tasks were completed on said employee’s checklist before employee clocks out.
• Recognizes and corrects potential safety hazards such as broken doors or railings, fire hazards, wet floors, etc.
• Performs other related and unrelated tasks as assigned by management
