Job summary

Capital Vacations is hiring a Housekeeping Inspector to ensure all units are clean and properly prepared for guests and Owners. The role involves inspecting rooms, coordinating with attendants, and supporting supervisors to maintain a cooperative housekeeping team.

Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED and prior housekeeping or supervisory experience. This on-site position offers opportunities for advancement and participation in a company perks program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior housekeeping or supervisory experience preferred.
• Demonstrated energy and passion for housekeeping and cleanliness.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing; strong multitasking skills.
• Driven to improve quality of work; capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Professional conduct at all times.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly inspects assigned units to ensure cleanliness and setup for guests and Owners.
• Checks units to confirm proper cleaning and readiness.
• Calls room attendant to clean any missed areas.
• Aids Supervisors in promoting teamwork among housekeepers.
• Reports to Supervisor/Manager any areas needing attention or instruction.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Checks the assigned units to ensure proper cleaning
• Calls room attendant to clean any area that was missed or not properly cleaned
• Aids the Housekeeping Supervisors in promoting a cooperative spirit among the housekeepers
• AlertsSupervisor/Manager to areas that need further attention and to housekeepers that need further instructions in certain areas
• Performs all other duties as assigned
