Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is hiring a Groundsperson in Tennessee. The role involves vegetation management tasks, operating basic equipment, and ensuring safety across the worksite. The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license; CDL is preferred.

A background check and drug screen are required as part of the application process. The position is full-time with overtime possible during emergencies, weekends, and variable hours as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Position requires employee to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe practices and enforce rules on site.
• Work from ground to keep area clear of debris using hand tools and equipment.
• Define staging areas and prepare/feed brush into woodchipper.
• Load/unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris; operate trucks and equipment as assigned.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks and equipment and report major repairs.

Education
