Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries preferred.
• Valid Driver's license required. CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate ground equipment with handsaws, pole saws, pruners, and other tools to clear brush and trees.
• Define staging areas and set up/break down materials, tools, and equipment.
• Prepare and feed brush into woodchipper as needed.
• Load and unload logs, stumps, brush, and debris from trucks.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks and equipment; report needed major repairs.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards around the work area; flag traffic as required.
• Work overtime and weekends as needed, including during emergencies.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
