Job summary

CAF Management is hiring a Porter to maintain the appearance and cleanliness of apartment communities, indoors and outdoors. You’ll support the maintenance team with curb appeal and keep common areas tidy to enhance resident experience.

This role suits someone who takes pride in outdoor work, likes hands-on tasks, and wants to grow in property management. Previous groundskeeping or janitorial experience is a plus. Strong work ethic is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable working independently and with a team.
• Availability to work Saturdays (closed Sundays) and maintain a flexible weekday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of community grounds, sidewalks, parking areas, and trash enclosures
• Clean and maintain breezeways, entryways, stairwells, and common areas
• Pressure wash buildings, entryways, and walkways as needed
• Remove trash and debris from grounds, dumpster areas, and bulk trash zones
• Monitor and empty trash receptacles throughout the property
• Assist with light maintenance tasks as directed (painting, minor repairs, curb appeal projects)
• Communicate maintenance concerns or safety issues to the Property Manager or Maintenance Supervisor
