Allied Residential, Inc. is seeking a Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our communities. Under supervision, you’ll care for grounds, parking areas, and shared spaces, with potential cross-training in housekeeping and maintenance to ensure smooth operations.

The role emphasizes reliability, safe outdoor work in varying weather, and collaboration with the Community Manager and Maintenance staff to meet deadlines and uphold high property standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions clearly.
• Strong organization and time-management abilities.
• Professional, dependable, and adaptable in a team setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in various weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas and facilities.
• Sweep, scrub, wax floors; clean carpets and surfaces.
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork as assigned.
• Empty trash and replace bathroom supplies; transport waste.
• Replace light bulbs and perform minor upkeep tasks.
• Maintain exterior areas: mow grass, trim shrubs, remove debris, shovel snow.
• Assist in transporting small equipment between departments.
• Support housekeeping or maintenance staff to complete work orders.
• Attend regular meetings and trainings to maintain skills.
