Job summary

Allied Residential, Inc. is seeking a Groundskeeper/Porter to maintain the grounds, parking areas, and common facilities across our properties. Under the supervision of the Community Manager, you will help keep exteriors clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and guests.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, strong communication and organizational skills, and the stamina to work outdoors in varied weather. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience
• Clear reading, writing and verbal communication
• Basic math: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Strong organizational skills and time management
• Professionalism and dependability in a team
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in various weather

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of common areas and facilities
• Sweep, scrub, and polish floors; clean carpets and surfaces
• Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork
• Empty trash and replenish bathroom supplies
• Replace light bulbs and perform light upkeep
• Maintain exterior areas: mow grass, trim shrubs, remove debris, and shovel snow
• Assist in transporting small equipment between departments
• Support housekeeping or maintenance staff to complete work orders
• Participate in regular meetings and trainings to maintain knowledge and skills
