Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Porter to maintain grounds, exteriors, and common areas of the Campbell Ranch property in a customer-focused way. You will support leasing efforts with a clean, well-kept environment and respond to property needs with professionalism.

Responsibilities include daily site cleaning, unit prep assistance, and timely reporting of maintenance issues. The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, and strong resident interactions.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and understand English.
• Ability to use general office equipment.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to cope with and defuse situations involving angry or difficult people.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and current auto insurance.
• Must comply with all safety requirements.
• Required to complete and successfully pass the Avenue5 Fair Housing, Diversity and Inclusion Training within the first 30 days of employment.
• Ability to shovel snow, apply ice melt and operate a commercial snow blower.
• Passionate for meticulous curb appeal.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and debris from office areas and property perimeter daily.
• Assist in preparing market ready units.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings and sidewalks.
• Assist with property emergencies such as snow removal and other weather issues.
• Clean available apartments, model homes and common areas as directed.
• Address maintenance concerns related to weather conditions.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and curb appeal and interact professionally with residents.
• Preserve confidentiality of applicants and residents.
• Foster positive relationships with residents and other properties/agencies.
• Report maintenance and life safety issues promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.
