Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a dedicated Porter to maintain grounds, exteriors, and common areas at one of our properties. You will support leasing offices, keep the property clean and well-maintained, and help preserve curb appeal while delivering excellent resident service.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Able to read, write and understand English; professional appearance and confidentiality.
• Able to use general office equipment and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and debris daily from office areas and property perimeter.
• Assist in market-ready unit preparation.
• Pressure wash exterior buildings and sidewalks.
• Assist with property emergencies (snow removal, fires, floods).
• Clean available apartments and common areas; report maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and curb appeal; interact professionally with residents.
