Achievement House, Inc. is looking for a compassionate and reliable Ground Crew Job Coach to empower individuals with developmental disabilities through hands-on training in janitorial and grounds maintenance services.

This part-time role offers $23.00 per hour and includes a $250 sign-on bonus. Join our mission-driven team and contribute to meaningful work that makes a difference in the lives of others.

Qualificações

• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Ability to provide proof of current California-required auto insurance.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsabilidades

• Coach and support individuals during janitorial and grounds maintenance services.
• Provide instruction, encouragement, and feedback for skill development.
• Supervise and mentor vocational trainees through hands-on training.
• Ensure safe and efficient work completion to quality standards.
• Deliver customer service and maintain positive relationships.
• Monitor supplies, complete documentation, and care for the company vehicle.
• Represent Achievement House positively within the community.

Vocational Coach (Grounds Maintenance)

Achievement House, Inc. is a respected nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities through vocational training, education, and independent living programs. We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and reliable Ground Crew Job Coach to join our team.

In this rewarding role, you will provide hands‑on training, supervision, and support to individuals as they develop valuable workplace skills through janitorial and grounds maintenance services. If you are passionate about making a positive impact in your community while helping others achieve greater independence and employment success.

Schedule:
Part‑Time | Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
8:30 AM to 3:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Coach and support individuals with developmental disabilities while performing janitorial and grounds maintenance services at various community locations.
• Provide clear instruction, encouragement, and ongoing feedback to promote skill development and workplace success.
• Supervise and mentor a crew of vocational trainees through hands‑on training and positive reinforcement.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with site contacts and contract representatives.
• Monitor and maintain crew supplies, complete required documentation, and ensure proper care and cleanliness of the company vehicle.
• Represent Achievement House professionally and positively within the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation required; driving is an essential function of the position.
• Ability to provide proof of current California‑required auto insurance.
• Ability to successfully complete Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI fingerprint clearance requirements.
• Willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR certification (training provided).
• Basic computer and technology skills.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, but not required.

Compensation

• $23.00 per hour
