Job summary

Davis Development is seeking a Grounds Specialist to maintain the property's exteriors, common areas and amenities, supporting the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager with general repairs.

The role involves daily grounds care, litter removal, pool maintenance, and safe operation of grills and tools. Candidates should have basic labor experience, a HS diploma, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and strong communication skills. On-site work, full-time hours, competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• One or more years of general labor experience preferred.
• Multifamily experience is a plus.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools, cleaning supplies and other equipment needed for the role.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Ability to lift tools, equipment and other items in the unit (approximately 50 lbs).
• Work over 40 hours per week as business needs deem appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Walks the property daily and removes litter, debris and pet droppings from all areas.
• Removes trash and recyclables within the office and maintains the trash areas per the schedule.
• Checks and logs pool levels daily and vacuums pools weekly.
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities by performing general labor duties.
• Cleans and maintains grills, inspecting timers and knobs to ensure safety.
