Job summary

Davis Development is seeking a Grounds Specialist to maintain the property grounds, common areas, and amenities. You will also support the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager with general repairs and upkeep.

Responsibilities include daily site patrols, litter removal, pool level checks, and safety inspections of grills. Basic labor tasks and physical work are required, with potential for overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• One or more years of general labor job experience preferred; multifamily experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools, cleaning supplies and other equipment needed for the role.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift tools, equipment and other items in the unit (approximately 50 lbs)
• Work over 40 hours per week as business needs deem appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Walks the property throughout the day and removes litter, debris and pet droppings from all areas, including but not limited to breezeways, pools, grounds, common areas, etc
• Removes trash and recyclables within the office and maintains the trash areas per the agreed upon schedule
• Checks and logs pool levels daily and vacuums pools weekly
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities by performing general labor duties
• Cleans and maintains grills inspecting timers and knobs to ensure safety
