Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in Miami, FL is seeking a Groundman to support our overhead electrical distribution projects. You will assist the crew in building, repairing, and maintaining power lines and equipment, reporting to the Foreman.

This role requires outdoor work, physical labor, and willingness to travel and work nonstandard hours, outages, and on-call rotations. CDL within 60 days is required or pursued. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to work outdoors in varying conditions and travel as needed.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and performing physical labor.

Responsibilities

• Assist crews in building, repairing and maintaining overhead distribution systems.
• Help install and repair power lines, poles, insulators and related hardware.
• Maintain vehicles, equipment and tools in good working order.
• Work outdoors in extreme weather and participate in on-call rotations.
