Hire Consulting Services in Reston, VA is seeking a Construction Project Manager with ground-up restaurant and retail experience to lead multiple projects. You will oversee planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery while staying within budget.

Based in our Reston office with hybrid flexibility, you will drive schedules, manage contractors and vendors, review blueprints, and report progress to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A proven project management background specifically focused on restaurant and retail construction, including ground-up, open-door remodels, and tenant buildouts.
• Hands-on experience with construction management and scheduling software (Procore, Primavera, and Raken strongly preferred).
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and site designs.
• Time management to handle multiple overlapping projects and meet deadlines.
• Leadership and communication skills to build relationships with contractors and clients.
• PMP certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive project success by managing full-cycle construction for multiple restaurant and retail projects, overseeing schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Lead the site with regular visits to enforce safety, quality, codes, and best practices.
• Monitor expenses and drive cost-control measures to keep projects within budget.
• Review, interpret, and execute against complex blueprints and architectural designs.
• Identify risks and delays and implement solutions using standard software.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams with regular stakeholder meetings.
