Veho in Pompano Beach, FL is seeking a Ground Operations Lead to oversee daily logistics activities, coordinating cross-functional teams and guiding a shift to ensure safety and operational excellence and successful launches with driver partners.

The role requires hands-on leadership, forklift operation (and possibly a box truck), strong communication, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, physically demanding environment; schedule is 12am–8am, with nights, holidays and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics, operations management, or related field.
• Owns a modern smartphone and can use apps daily.
• Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks preferred.
• Proficiency with logistics platforms and related tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to complete a background check.
• Willingness to work nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift to ensure safety and operational excellence in daily logistics tasks.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to launch and sort shipments with driver partners.
• Navigate technology platforms to manage route changes and operational challenges.
• Operate forklift and potentially a box truck with care and accuracy.
• Deliver high levels of customer service to driver partners and internal teams.
• Maintain clear communication to effectively lead a fast-paced shift.
• Stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
