Job summary

Crane is seeking an Outbound Specialist, Ground to own the origin portion of the shipment file—from booking acceptance through confirmed departure. You will work across TMF and Descartes Aljex to build the file, apply costs, generate the BOL, secure pickups, issue pre-alerts, and establish in-transit visibility, ensuring parity between systems and a clean handoff to the inbound team at origin departure.

The role focuses on accurate documentation, timely escalation of exceptions, and coordination

Qualifications

• Experience with TMF and Descartes Aljex preferred.
• Strong data validation and reconciliation across two systems.
• Ability to manage documentation and auditing for billing and shipments.

Responsibilities

• Build shipment files in TMF and Aljex, add cost and revenue, generate BOL.
• Coordinate pickups and pre-alerts, provide in-transit visibility.
• Audit loading documentation against physical load and hand off to inbound specialist.
• Escalate scheduling, transportation, and security exceptions promptly.
