Job summary

Crane-Solutions-LL in Houston, TX seeks an Outbound Specialist, Ground to manage the origin portion of the shipment file from booking acceptance through departure. You’ll build the shipment in TMF and Descartes Aljex, apply cost and revenue, generate the BOL, secure pickups, and provide in‑transit visibility.

You’ll ensure data parity across TMF and Aljex, verify signed BOLs and piece counts, and escalate scheduling, transportation, and security issues promptly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in transportation operations or related logistics role.
• Hands-on experience with transportation management systems (TMF/Aljex preferred).
• Knowledge of US domestic ground freight modes (FTL/LTL).
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Build shipment files in TMF and Aljex and generate BOLs.
• Verify data and references before booking or handoff.
• Coordinate with Capacity Planning and carriers to confirm pickup.
• Maintain in-transit visibility and update milestones in systems.
• Escalate scheduling, capacity, and security issues promptly.
