Job summary

Paycom is seeking a Ground Beef Grind Supervisor in Denver, CO to oversee daily raw-material selection, formulation, grinding, blending, and chilling for ground beef production. You will lead grinding staff, coordinate with packaging, and ensure batches meet formulation, fat%, temperature, quality, and traceability standards.

Reports to the Production Manager. Responsibilities include scheduling, material planning, line supervision, equipment readiness, and maintaining cost‑effective production

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; relevant training preferred.
• 3+ years in meat processing or food manufacturing; 1+ year in lead/supervisory role.
• Experience with ground beef formulations, fat control, CO2 chilling, and batch reconciliation.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, traceability, USDA operations.
• Ability to read production schedules, specs, formulas, and inventory data.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, documentation, and math skills.
• Proficient with production, traceability, inventory, scanning, timekeeping, reporting; MS Office.
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily grinding schedule and plan to meet packaging demand and costs.
• Direct Grinding Lead and staff on blend sequence, materials, and inspection coverage.
• Verify equipment readiness and maintain proper sanitation and traceability.
• Monitor line pace, throughput, yield, and equipment performance; coordinate with Packaging and QA.
• Place affected product on hold when specs or safety requirements are not met.
