Job summary

National Beef in Moultrie, Georgia, is seeking a Ground Beef Superintendent to lead daily production in a safe, efficient, and compliant environment. The role requires strong leadership, staff development, and the ability to manage multiple shifts on-site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a beef plant environment.
• Proven leadership experience in a team environment.
• Staff management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in both team and independent settings.
• Willingness to work any shift.
• Must be able to pass a background check; 18+; authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Promoting a Safe Work Environment.
• Directing production area to maximize efficiencies and profitability.
• Promoting and developing good relationships and high morale among fabrication employees and supervisors.
• Guiding supervisors through the Safety investigation/reporting process.
• Maintaining good working relationships with other departments and USDA.
• Directing daily operations to exceed daily production goals.
• Understanding and adhering to GMPs, SSOPs, HACCPs.
• Developing and training management staff.
• Identifying and resolving process issues as they arise.
• Other duties as assigned.
