Job summary

Creekstone Farms Premium Beef is seeking a Bone Grind Supervisor to oversee production operations and maximize uptime by coordinating with maintenance on grinders, bone dryer, CIP, and related equipment. The role emphasizes safety and continuous improvement in a fast-paced plant environment.

The successful candidate will understand mechanical operations, drive yields within specifications, lead safety meetings, and ensure paperwork and testing (including the FOSS machine) are completed

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical operations of equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to coordinate safety meetings and promote safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations while partnering with maintenance on centrifuges, grinders, bone dryer, load out area, meal grinder, Gel bone operation water softeners, and steam generators.
• Oversees the process operations to produce product that is within specification.
• Able to maximize yields by understanding yields of product.
• Coordinate safety meetings and responsible for subordinate's safety.
• Drive continuous improvement of preventative and corrective maintenance policies, procedures, and reporting system.
• Manage CIP process and order CIP chemical to ensure process is clean each day.
• Load paperwork on shipments.
• Run tests with the FOSS Machine.
• Adhere to Process Safety Management Program's rules and regulations.
• Physically capable of performing job duties while wearing a Respirator in certain situations.
