Job summary

Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, is seeking a Cook II for the summer season to assist the sous chef with daily menus, specials, soups, stews, and chilies in the Grotto employee dining room.

Responsibilities include producing flavorful dishes to standard, stocking and garnishing, proper food rotation, inventories, and assisting servers during busy times. Must have previous kitchen experience and be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Pay is $22.50 per hour.

• Produce flavorful dishes adhering to production standards and time constraints.
• Cook dishes according to recipes and develop new food selections in conjunction with the sous chef and executive chef.
• Keep service lines clean, change pans as needed, and ensure food selections are well-stocked and appropriately garnished.
• Properly store and rotate food to ensure freshness and avoid waste.
• Completed daily inventories.
• Assist servers during busy times.
• Other duties as assigned.
