Job summary

Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah is seeking a Seasonal Cook II to assist the sous chef with daily menu preparation and presentation. The Grotto is an employee dining room where you will contribute to high-quality specials, soups, stews, and chilies.

You will produce flavorful dishes, follow recipes with the sous and executive chefs, maintain clean service lines, and help with inventory and stocking while supporting staff on busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Produce flavorful dishes adhering to production standards and time constraints.
• Cook dishes according to recipes and develop new food selections in conjunction with the sous chef and executive chef.
• Keep service lines clean, change pans as needed, and ensure food selections are well-stocked and appropriately garnished.
• Properly store and rotate food to ensure freshness and avoid waste.
• Completed daily inventories.
• Assist servers during busy times.
• Other duties as assigned.
