Job summary

Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, seeks a seasonal Cook II to assist the sous chef with daily menu preparation, restocking, and plating at peak hours. You will work at one of several restaurant locations under the guidance of the culinary team.

Responsibilities include maintaining mise-en-place, stocking, and inventory, while supporting servers during busy periods. Prior cooking experience is required; candidates must be able to stand long shifts and lift 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cook dishes according to recipes and develop new selections with the sous chef and executive chef.
• Keep service lines clean, change pans as needed, ensure food is well-stocked and garnished.
• Ensure mise-en-place is sufficient for the day’s requirements.
• Properly store and rotate food to ensure freshness and prevent waste.
• Complete daily inventories.
• Assist servers during busy times.
• Other duties as assigned.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

• Cook dishes according to recipes and develop new food selections in conjunction with the sous chef and executive chef


• Keep service lines clean, change pans as needed, and ensure food selections are well-stocked and appropriately garnished


• Ensure mise-en-place is in sufficient quantities for the day’s requirements


• Properly storeand rotate food to ensure freshness and avoid waste


• Completed daily inventories


• Assistservers during busy times


• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previouscooking experiencerequired


• Able to stand forlong periodsof time and lift and carry 25 – 50 lbs.

PAY RATE:
