Petco is seeking a Grooming Salon Leader to manage salon operations and lead grooming staff. You will deliver expert grooming services while ensuring a positive environment for partners and pets, aiming for high customer satisfaction and strong salon performance.

This role requires strong leadership, grooming expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality. You will coach team members, optimize scheduling, and uphold Petco standards across the salon.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a professional groomer.
• 1-2 years previous experience of salon management preferred.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong leadership skills, with the desire to lead, train, and develop people.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the grooming salon, ensuring smooth workflows and staffing.
• Recruit, train, and supervise grooming staff, providing coaching and evaluations.
• Create grooming schedules to maximize capacity and accommodate demand.
• Monitor revenue, customer satisfaction, and productivity; develop improvement plans.
• Interact with pet parents to provide exceptional service and grooming recommendations.
