Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a professional groomer
• 1–2 years previous salon management experience preferred
• Very strong verbal and written communication with pet parents and staff
• Expert knowledge of dog breeds, grooming requirements and behaviors
• Genuine passion for animals and interest in growing a grooming team

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations, optimize scheduling, manage inventory and staffing
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise grooming staff, provide coaching and evaluations
• Create efficient grooming schedules to maximize productivity and meet demand
• Monitor salon performance metrics and develop improvement plans
• Collaborate with store management to achieve sales targets and salon objectives
• Provide exceptional customer service and grooming recommendations to pet parents
• Perform professional grooming services according to breed standards and client instructions
• Maintain grooming tools and salon cleanliness and safety policies
