Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a professional groomer or completion of a grooming training program.
• Strong leadership and people-development skills for grooming teams.
• Excellent communication with pet parents and salon staff.
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming techniques and safety.
• Ability to manage inventory and salon workflows.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations, schedules, and staffing.
• Recruit, train, and supervise grooming staff, providing coaching and evaluations.
• Create efficient grooming schedules to maximize capacity and meet demand.
• Monitor salon metrics such as revenue, satisfaction, and productivity; implement improvements.
• Lead with grooming expertise, ensuring high-quality services and safety for all pets.
• Maintain salon hygiene, equipment, and adherence to Petco policies.
