Petco is seeking a Grooming Salon Leader to oversee grooming operations and lead the salon team. You will deliver expert grooming services, manage schedules, and ensure exceptional customer experiences for pets and their parents.

Responsibilities include recruiting and coaching staff, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving salon performance while staying aligned with Petco’s values and policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a professional groomer or completion of a grooming training program.
• Strong leadership skills; 1–2 years of salon management preferred.
• High-school diploma or GED preferred; grooming certification is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with pet parents and team members.
• Expert knowledge of dog breeds, grooming requirements, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations, scheduling, and capacity planning.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise grooming staff with coaching and performance reviews.
• Create and manage grooming schedules to maximize productivity and cover peak hours.
• Monitor revenue, customer satisfaction, and staff productivity; develop improvement plans.
• Collaborate with store management to achieve salon targets and growth.
