Petco Grooming Salon is seeking a Salon Leader to manage grooming operations and a team of groomers. You will deliver expert grooming services while ensuring superior customer experiences and pet safety.

Lead by example, mentor staff, and drive salon performance in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee scheduling, training, and quality checks, with opportunities for career growth in Petco’s grooming program and store leadership track.

Formación

• 2+ years of professional grooming experience or completion of a technical grooming program.
• Strong leadership skills with 1–2 years in salon management preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with pet parents and team.
• Expert knowledge of dog breeds, grooming requirements and health considerations.
• Ability to lead, train and develop grooming staff.
• Willingness to work full time including weekends/evenings/holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations, optimize workflows and scheduling.
• Recruit, hire, train and supervise grooming staff, coach and evaluate performance.
• Create and manage grooming schedules to maximize productivity and coverage.
• Monitor revenue, customer satisfaction and staff productivity; develop improvement plans.
• Collaborate with store management to meet salon targets and growth.
• Interact professionally with pet parents and provide grooming recommendations.
• Stay updated on grooming trends and best practices to elevate skills.
• Perform professional grooming services per client instructions and breed standards.
