Job summary

Petco Animal Supplies, Inc. is seeking a Grooming Salon Leader to run the grooming salon, lead a team of groomers, and deliver expert grooming services to pets and their parents. You will hire, train, coach, and evaluate staff while ensuring top customer service and safety standards.

You will manage schedules, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with store management to grow the salon, expand the customer base, and drive profitability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a professional groomer and/or completion of a technical grooming training program
• Strong leadership skills, with the desire to lead, train, and develop people
• High-school diploma or GED preferred
• Very strong verbal and written communication with pet parents and grooming team
• Expert knowledge of dog breeds, grooming requirements, and grooming standards

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations, scheduling, and inventory.
• Recruit, train, and supervise grooming staff, provide coaching and evaluations.
• Create efficient grooming schedules to maximize salon capacity and meet demand.
• Monitor revenue, customer satisfaction, and partner productivity; develop action plans.
• Collaborate with store management to reach sales targets and salon objectives.
