Petco is seeking a Grooming Salon Leader to guide salon operations and lead grooming teams, delivering top-tier services for our customers and their pets. You will manage scheduling, coaching, and daily workflows to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.

You will also perform advanced grooming services, monitor performance, and stay current with grooming trends. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and exceptional customer care in a dynamic Petco environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ professional grooming experience and/or completion of a grooming training program.
• Strong leadership abilities with the desire to train and develop people.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with pet parents and team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grooming salon operations, optimize schedules, manage inventory, and staffing.
• Hire, train, and supervise grooming staff; coach, provide feedback, and evaluate performance.
• Create efficient grooming schedules to maximize productivity and meet demand.
• Monitor revenue, customer satisfaction, and team productivity; develop improvement plans.
• Collaborate with store management to meet sales targets and salon goals.
• Interact with pet parents to provide grooming recommendations and resolve concerns.
