Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is hiring a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech) at our Milford, MA location. You will help with bathing, brushing, nail trimming, and learn to become a groomer through Paragon School of Pet Grooming, with paid training and a starter tool kit.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or working with pets is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Delighting Neighbors and pets with grooming services, such as brushing, bathing, and trimming nails.
• Learning and demonstrating all the skills necessary to become a groomer through the online distance program.
• Always ensuring the wellness and safety of furry patrons.
• Developing long‑term relationships with Neighbors by understanding their needs and recommending products and services that will keep their pet healthy and happy.
• Performing routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment fun and inviting.
• Successfully completing Safety Training certification.
• Assisting store team members during grooming downtime.
