Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech) to join our neighborhood stores. You will assist with brushing, bathing, nails, and basic grooming while learning through the Paragon School of Pet Grooming.

Training is provided, and a free tool kit worth over $600 is offered upon enrollment. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is helpful as you grow into a professional groomer with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to move or lift merchandise, equipment or pets weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods of time.
• Candidates must pass a drug screening and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Delight Neighbors and pets with grooming services, such as brushing, bathing, and trimming nails.
• Learn and demonstrate skills to become a groomer through the online distance program.
• Maintain wellness and safety of furry patrons.
• Develop long-term relationships with Neighbors by understanding needs and recommending products and services.
• Perform routine cleaning to keep the grooming environment inviting.
• Assist during grooming downtime and complete safety training certification.
